I’m sorry you feel that way. Curly cuts and Straight cuts follow different rules. Curly cuts are based on the measure a coil/ curly sets (with product) in its curly state; while a straight cut is based on the length of the hair and any split ends or breakage that may be apparent. It sounds like I may not have done a through job of helping you understand that. Also, understanding that previous heat damage from silk presses also plays a significant role in a curly cut as well, may be another reason you feel you lost of length during your cut. I feel I trimmed your hair gradually, first in the curly cut (removing and blending in heat damage) then in the next service once straightened, balancing in breakage and split ends for healthy hair. As a stylist— healthy hair is my #1 priority, above length. Again, I apologize if you feel I cut too much of your length. ❤️❤️❤️. Blessings and healthy hair, Ayanna
