A few things. I've followed you for the past year to your 4 different locations. When I first met you at studiobladez in Brooklyn, you were pleasant..., and professional, which is I why I followed you. You always blamed the establishments for your constant move. Nevertheless, I went where you were. I contacted you on Thursday, discussed pricing, and booked for the service; 4 stitch braids, which was only listed under men's as per your direction for $60. You told me hair was included at no extra cost. You confirmed again Friday morning via text and also on Booksy. You did not arrive to the location until 1023 because you said you were at the beauty supply store. Upon completing my style, you increased the fee $30, accused me of not reading because in your words " it's not for me to read for you" I don't even do 4 stitch braids cuz I don't like doing them. You became combative, disrespectful, and would not let me leave until I zelled you $90. Aside from the fact that this was completely out of character from the professional that I traveled from Long Island to patronize, you did not do my hair as good as you normally have in the past. My part was not straight, and my hair is already coming loose. I never asked for a discount as per your rules for you being late, and I never authorized you to film me (which you need to remove immediately. As per NYC Dept. of consumer affairs, I have been informed to resolve request my $30 returned. Your behavior did not demonstrate the character of someone licensed u see the state of NY. The business relationship has been damaged, you are a different person, and I will not be patronizing you anymore. As you expect payment for services rendered I also expect to pay for services received and agreed upon but not pay as u decide. If my refund is received, I will update my review. Everyone is entitled to having an off day and if this is what happened, then you will resolve. See you in court! Show more

Good morning Karen…. a few things, you did not follow me to my past 4 locations because since you've met me i've only been to 2 other salons, not 4 as you stated. Nevertheless, you contacted me on Wednesday not Thursday. When we spoke on the phone wednesday you asked me about getting ONE braid, not 4. If you asked me about 4 braids i would have suggested something different because i do not like how 4 braids looks as a women's style sometimes, which is why the service is not offered. When you book men's braids, the option for "extensions add on" comes up automatically. I told you hair was provided at no extra cost, assuming you would be booking a female style since you are a women. I was a little bit late but i did not arrive at 10:23 (that's very specific) i arrived at 10:10. Im assuming since you read my polices on my instagram page & you know that i offer $15 off for me being over 20 min late & im guessing that's why you're saying 10:23. Since you took the time to go through my instagram page i have no doubt that you would have done the same thing with my booking site. I did not withhold you from leaving... you sat in my chair for 5 minutes after i apologized to you multipleld times & patiently waited for you to leave. I’m not sure why you lied like this in your review but i have 2 people who were there with me to cooberate my story. As far as the time, when you book your appointment it does state how long the service may take & the style you booked for is listed as a 2 hour time frame & the blow out can add time to that depending on the density of hair.
