My daughter got a silk press and Rae didn’t disappoint! She did a beautiful job!! She truly cares about hair. Rae took her time washing it, applied a ...deep conditioner and didn’t brush and tug on my daughter’s curls like her other hairstylist. This was my first time at Sunshine City and I am so pleased with my experience. I am in love with my hair and have gotten so many compliments! Getting... your hair done after you know it’s been a minute (and you’re natural) is SO vulnerable. Rae did an amazing job of helping me to feel comfortable. She doesn’t shame you at all for the state of your hair and never makes you feel like your hair is difficult. The reason I booked with her to begin with is because I saw that she wasn’t afraid of texture. She is so kind, authentic, and intentional. You can tell that this isn’t just a job to her - she is incredible at what she does. I will be back! 10/10! Show more
