I went to Blush Nail Salon for a pedicure recently and it was my first visit to this salon. The pedicure was very nicely done; I have no complaints ab...out it. The reasons for my low rating and the reason that I will not return has little to do with the quality of service or the helpfulness of the staff. My technician and the staff with whom I had contact were all very nice. My complaint concerns the customers— actually just one who talked on her cell phone while her nails were being done. Her voice was extremely loud (even after she completed her phone call) and she had the speakerphone on, so both sides of the conversation were broadcast throughout the room. It seemed like everyone in the room raised their voices proportionately and the end result was an extremely noisy environment. I’ve experienced several different salons and haven’t encountered this problem before. Most people are inherently polite enough to recognize this behavior as inappropriate. For those few who don’t, the business can post a sign saying something to the effect of “We strive to to make your time here relaxing and calm. Please respect others by not using your phone for phone calls or videos with sound.” Show more
