✨Best Value✨ 🪄Level 1 Color Package

On January 18, 2025 I had an appointment with stylist Kelly at Full Throttle. I am a previous client of Kelly’s, and although she hasn’t always done a... great job in the past, I decided to give her another chance… my mistake. I was very specific that I wanted a 1 inch trim and chocolate brown hair, which Kelly charged me $185 for (not including tip). Kelly repeatedly tried to convince me to go darker to a borderline black color, but i repeatedly explained I wanted chocolate brown. I repeatedly pointed out to her during my services that my roots appeared orange but she assured me it was just the lighting and that nothing was wrong, sending me on my way. After my services concluded, Kelly instructed me to leave a positive review, which I reluctantly did in an effort to be a good client, however I was not happy with my services. When I got home, I saw my hair in natural lighting (see attached photos) and had other friends and stylists look at my hair, and everyone agreed that my roots appeared orange and my gray hairs did not seem to be dyed whatsoever. I politely texted Kelly to let her know there was an issue still (the same one I pointed out previously in her salon) and expected she would make things right. Unfortunately, Kelly placed all the blame on me, she made me out to be a problematic client because I had pointed out her poor services in the past. Instead of immediately offering to fix her mistake, she argued with me that nothing was wrong and the orange hair was a result of me not agreeing to dye my hair black like she suggested. Finally, Kelly offered to have me come back to the salon and I agreed, and then she informed me she would be charging me an additional $40 as a “product redo fee” to fix my hair. I explained to Kelly that I could not afford to lose anymore money on this situation and her response was to terminate her stylist-client relationship with me. I was extremely taken aback by this rude and abrupt response and tried one last time to ask for a proper remedy and Kelly finally offered a measly $30 refund, claiming she only charges $30 for color, despite asking for an additional $40 to correct the color moments before. When I tried to explain to her that her math was not making sense and her small refund was insulting, she gave my phone number (without my permission) to her husband David. David began texting me repeating the same argumentative things that Kelly was saying. All in all, I spent $258 for various services at this salon on this one day, I left a generous tip, I left a positive review as asked, and tried to be a good client. However, when I pointed out a very obvious mistake that Kelly made, she handled the situation unprofessionally and rudely, bringing me to tears, as not only am I out hundreds of dollars but I am left with horrendous, embarrassing hair. I really tried to give Kelly every chance to make this situation right before posting this. However, I will admit it was my mistake returning to a salon that repeatedly does poor work. I highly do not recommend Kelly at Full Throttle. Show more

Me and my little have been struggling with her hair for quite sometime with tangling and alot of other things , however we have been treating it like ...straight hair like mine turns out shes naturally curly ,well we won't be doing that anymore lol we will now be watching curly hair tutorials on styling and care !!
