I absolutely love my braids. Quin's professionalism and expertise is evident from the moment you sit down. She gave me advice on the style that would ...fit me. She put in an extra row because of my full face. I appreciated her attention to detail. I will be back soon. The atmosphere of her braiding studio was also very serene and calming which made this a wonderful experience. Also, I have received so many compliments on my hair. I am so glad I found Quin's braiding! First of all she is so sweet. I reached out about an appointment and she worked with me to choose a style and wa...s able to fit me in the next day! Her communication is excellent. I arrived and had to wait a bit while she finished up another customer, but she was very apologetic and kept thanking me for my patience. Her salon space is very clean and relaxing. The other braider who helped finished my hair was also so nice and they were very fast! I got island twists and was done in about 3.5 hours. Had to come and give as many stars as could be allowed. Ms Quin has found a loyal patron for sure. I went on vacation swam in the ocean and pool every...day all day for 2 weeks and no problems at all. Came back home and she refreshed them. Now I am a returning client who is bringing her most intimate member (daughter) to see Ms Quin. Hands down for a relaxing and clean environment free from bs check her out. Oh and she is a MAKEUP ARTIST too. I am giving 4 stars today, I would prefer to give more, this review will come in 2 parts. I have silky fine hair that is short by way of a pixie cut. I enjoy expressing my heritage in many ways and wearing my braids is not only one way of announcing my pride and heritage but it also pays homage to my DAD R.I.P. Unfortunately, with my hair being so silky it's hard to find a braided willing to give attention to detail, listen with an attempt to understand your goals, and offer professional feedback. Not the feedback you'd like to hear when you have your mind set on a particular style but feedback that is beneficial to your investment. The investment we make into our hair can be pricey and Quinn sympathizes with the principle. I went to Quinn's after having been braided by the infamous Nadine's Hair Braiding in upper Marlboro and 2 weeks after Nadine's install I took a shower to wash my hair and half of the instal fell to the shower floor. I expressed to Quinn, there is a special way to install on my texture. After discussing, though a bit apprehensive she went on with the technique and she knocked it out of the park. Both she and her colleague were extremely pleasant, professional and CLEAN. Oh my God how important is it to patronize a very clean establishment with warm and inviting staff. Quinn's Hair Braiding knocked it out of the park. I also recommended others to patronize her immediately after leaving. This review will be edited in 2-weeks to see if they last as long as the Nadine's half baked install. Looks like Quinn will be added to my group of stylists permanently. She made sure the weight of the braided hair and boho was NOT too heavy for my grain and sections used to avoid breakage also. You gotta love a business woman who displays concern, compassion, and empathy to the woman before her and desires to make you as beautiful as you feel. Fully Executed as desired. Show more
