I booked a hair appointment for my daughter for Thursday morning. Knowing she (Luvly) already had a dr appointment she never gave me any notice till t...he day of that she wouldn’t be able to keep the same time. Then she kept pushing the time back more and more so I asked to reschedule for Saturday being this was not my fault. And I specifically wanted a morning appointment.Then she proceeded to tell me to be there by 8 am. Again gives me no notice before hand that she wouldn’t even be there at 8 am. So I went all the way there for nothing with all my kids. She wants people to be sensitive to her situation however has no consideration for anyone else’s. Then made me come back at 1 pm just to tell me after I got there she “couldn’t “ more like wouldn’t do my daughter hair cuz the hair I got wasn’t already twisted for crochet passion twists. This is maybe the worst experience I’ve had which is sad because she’s highly recommended. She also has 13 other reviews similar to mine which she nastily replies to which is super unprofessional. Everything about this experience was unprofessional. I’m over it ! See lmao she couldn’t help herself had to say something back u can’t take criticism and that’s very unprofessional as well. The other stylist offered me A FREE HAIRSTYLE CUZ SHE KNOWS IT WAS HER FAULT UNLIKE YOU WHO WONT TAKE ANY ACCOUNTABILITY FOR YOUR UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR ‼️ AND I DIDNT PURCHASE THE WRONG ANYTHING THEY sent the wrong hair. Sweetheart, My doctors appt was made last minute bcuz like I told you I had a MISCARRIAGE to which you apologized and said you understood. You AGREED to meeting me today at 1pm and when you arrived YOU realized that you purchased the wrong hair. I never refused to do her hair today I suggested you buy the correct hair from the nearest beauty supply & return the hair you ordered, you didn’t want to do that. I also offered to give her a crochet weave with the hair u brought but u didn't want to pay the price for it. I'm not surerprised that you would go out your way to leave this FALACIOUS review because of the way you texted me and the convo I had with you earlier where I had to tell you that you keep getting denied by stylists because we are humans too and deserve respect. Your demeanor is EXTREMELY off putting. I even told you to go to the African spot I sent you to before to have them install the passion twist with the loose water wave u bought by accident and u said no because they charge $200. Your expecting stylists to pick up the slack for you and in reality you had the correct hair prelooped passion twists for yourself but not for your daughter. Until u adjust your attitude & take accountability you will continue to be denied by stylists. I also have a screenshot of you begging me to do ur hair bcuz a stylist cancelled u at the last minute you are USED to having bad experiences with stylists… This is NOT a Luvly Brown issue…this is a YOU thing!

Ms. Luvly does really nice work so I won’t discredit her on that however she has a really bad attitude. I’ve kept my composure for awhile because I li...ke her work, but today was the last straw putting money in someone’s pocket that has a bad aura. The first incident was the delusion of me allegedly moving my head constantly and not being still. I’ve been to a number of different hair stylists and I’ve never received a complaint about me having such constant movement. The second incident was really not an incident because I didn’t address the issue then, but my 12 year old daughter experienced the same delusion from Ms Luvly Brown about her constantly moving. I’m not sure what this woman’s problem was, but today was it! Here I am minding my business when Ms. Luvly decided she wanted to make a comment about me looking as if I had an attitude…and If I Did?! SO WHAT! I did not address her in any rude way. I sat and minded my business while she worked on someone else’s hair. She then makes a statement about my hair being dirty and telling me that I needed to wash my hair before I came, but when I tried to explain to her that I had psoriasis and that my hair was clean, just very dry, she had a tantrum. As her client is getting ready to leave she says to me “do you want to reschedule because it seems like you have an attitude and I can’t do attitude.” I explained to her that my gas, nor my time or my money would go to waste and that I would not be rescheduling. She then tells me that I need to change my attitude if i want her to do my hair. It took every ounce of me not to pounce on her. As I am sitting there, I put my headphones in my ear, and was humming a tune that was playing. Miss Luvly was somehow bothered by that because she wanted to sing her own song. The whole time she mumbled under her breath, stormed around the room and did the unnecessary burning, whatever sage or incense, she thought would cleanse the room. I’ve never in my life experienced such horrible service. Just imagine somebody yanking your head around because they have an attitude. It really took everything in me not to react the way I should have. Show more
