I’ve gone to Michelle three times now, and yesterday’s will be the last one. I can deal with tardiness, I can deal with the constant comments insulti...ng people I don’t know, I can deal with grumblings of someone who doesn’t trust doctors or medicine, and I can deal with hearing all of this despite the barber not having been asked for such commentary. What I can’t deal with is a barber messing up my hair, telling me she’s about to mess it up, then making it worse by trying to cover it up by going higher and higher. What should have been a routine cut became a flurry of excuses about her clippers, about the shape of my head (which hasn’t changed since the last two times she cut my hair), and she even had me holding a mirror, asking me (not a hair professional) to direct her to fix unevenness and obvious bulges. She was slurring her words and rambling about forgetting her good clippers at home, and the haircut looks like I did it myself. I don’t want to hurl insults and allegations, but yesterday’s behavior was not that of someone cognizant enough to be making people look and feel good. The first two cuts were great, but a 33% failure rate is enough for me to look elsewhere. Show more
