So I booked an appointment to just get a design haircut with a beard and mustache. Got a photo of the style I want. Very simple. Damien said he can't ...go off a picture from that angle. So I was in a hurry to get one of my other styles out. But the guy who took me in as an express service was Armani-STUDENT. At least a student should know how to be passionate about cutting hair, but his demeanor lacks confidence and a sense of duty to do his best. I'm not sure who came over and help him with the beard area, but his aura was pure confidence and dominance. But Armani was way too much on being scared of touching the client and didn't bother to say that you could work some magic into cutting people hair. I felt unsatisfied and at 35.00 was in between one at the Asian barbers going about 20 a head to 60 dollars at the higher level shops who goes the full yard with you. I think you got some skills but you got to work harder. But to speak for Chop it Up Barbershop, sometimes even time or money pricing doesn't dictate your quality but rather the service you input to your customers. Show more
As a straight woman, I’ve had some awkward reactions from barbers when I walk into their shops to have my fade touched up. Some are rude, some are dis...missive and just ignore me until I leave. Not at Chop it Up in Lynnwood. I’ve been here twice, seeing DK the first time and Armani most recently. I am always treated with respect and professionalism. The skills are on point and they are a cool bunch guys. DK is clearly an experienced pro, He just did his thing and it was fire. Armani is not as experienced but he asked questions of the barber next to him, who graciously shared his knowledge. I left extremely happy and will continue to utilize their services. Show more
I payed $35 for this. Armani was my barber. Why did I have to sit through an hour of this and pay top dollar? Is it the pay?
