First time visiting Swan Studio Salon and it was great! Fun energy in the studio . Very elegant classy look to the salon. My stylist Juliette gave top... notch service to me. After having my kid I needed to feel like myself again and I applaud Juliette for making it happen she went above in beyond. She gave me a hydration steam treatment and silk press. She listen to my concerns for my hair and educated me about healthy hair care. My over all experience was AMAZING!!!!! I Will Be Back. Show more
Sew-in special $150

I booked with Juliette last Wednesday, I came with my hair washed and blow-dried, which she had no issue with, but communication felt off from the sta...rt. Despite discussing my preferences beforehand, she didn’t follow through on the middle part and only told me after I noticed she starting the braids that she doesn’t do them. I booked the $150 “Any Sew-In”, so I don’t get why middle parts aren’t an option or why it wasn’t communicated through the text before my appointment. I told her I have a sensitive scalp and thin hair, but she braided way too tight. When I mentioned that certain sections were pulling, she ignored me and kept going. At one point, I tried to loosen a painful spot, and she said, “You’re popping your hair,” but still didn’t adjust anything. Now, over a week later, my scalp is sore, I have bumps from the tension, and sleeping on it has been a struggle. She did ask if I wanted a cap, and when I asked for her recommendation, she said if I like to feel my scalp, I should opt out, so I opted out. We saved a lot of time because I came washed and blowdried but the actual sew-in felt rushed. The appointment was supposed to take over three hours, but she finished in just one, In the front, some tracks weren’t fully sewn down, so pieces are sticking out. In the back, it’s both lumpy and painfully tight because she didn’t take the time to make sure the thread went through the entire braid properly. Now, I have strands of hair being pulled in the wrong direction. For $150, I expected a little more attention to detail. The shop itself was nice, and I can tell she has skill, maybe it was just an off day but the overall experience wasn’t worth it for me. Show more
