Shop was a little dirty idk if it was the owner that did my daughters hair but she was nice it’s okay to run late but if someone’s appointment starts ...at a certain time I would expect you to be somewhat on time or give a discount for waiting so long scheduled at 930 didn’t start until 11!!! Complained about my daughter the whole time then kept saying she didn’t do kids hair if you didn’t do kids hair you should’ve told me no when I called the day before ! My daughters hair looked good BUT not like the picture $140 was a little over priced for what she got as well ! Thought I found a gem but honestly I won’t be back I understand Braiding takes time but yeah she did the hair the way she wanted to and I agreed to whatever because at that point after waiting so long idc as long as something was done to my kids hair . Then she kept saying I don’t allow people on my shop when doing hair why not say that the day before I won’t leave my 6 year old with people she’s never met . Got her hair done Saturday it is now Tuesday and the hair looks sloppy on the side and this is with keeping up with a bonnet as well . Maybe I just had a bad experience not sure how they got 4.5 stars . Show more

First of all, the fake 5 star reviews should have been a red flag. But let's get to the experience: Children running around everywhere and were not di...sciplined, all in the clients' personal space. The place is also not clean. The combs are not sterilized in barbicide, they were just in the clear jars. It wasn't clean when I arrived at 8:00am and after children running around with snacks, it was absolutely filthy by the end of my service. I was miserable getting my hair done when it is supposed to be a relaxing experience. 9 hrs of noise! And I was quoted $190 on the phone but it changed to $200. I didn't want to go back and forth over $10 but I definitely should have been given more than that off as a discount for the terrible experience. I don't like to leave bad reviews for braiders because it affects their business but I also need to look out for my people who give these shops their hard earned money. Even though my hair turned out great, I do not recommend! Show more

Our policy with braiders is very firm regarding kids in our premises and we will make sure to re-enforce it; as far as the cleanliness of the place is concerned we are very surprised about <<the place is also not clean>> as we make it clean every Sunday by a Cleaning Company to maintain high standards of hygiene in our place and to prevent the risks of cross contamination also by cleaning our tools.
