Alan is a wonderful person but also equally passionate and talented when it comes to his craft. The space is not was I was used to as I’ve always gon...e to barbershops where there is usually a lot going on all around. The studio is bright, private, stylish, and allows for a personalized experience. He is very personable and easy to have a conversation with but also doesn’t make silences awkward. Alan is always able to understand, communicate, suggest, and perform effectively whenever I want to change my style even when I might not be able to best describe what I want my hair to like. I always look forward to my haircuts since I know it will always be a pleasant experience. One extra plus is the neighborhood right outside the doors has Balboa park and some great cafes, bars, food, and desserts for before or after a fresh cut. Show more
