I'm 67. Strained my L hip and sciatic trying not to trip over my dog. Suffered four weeks with oral and topical analgesics without improvement. Made ...online appointment this morning for 1130 - 1230. $80. $40 deposit. $1.75 card fee. Asked for any professional. Arrived 10 minutes early to complete one page patient information sheet. Met Holly. Stripped naked. Thought about wearing a speedo but glad I didn't. Lied under heavy blanket instead of sheet. Felt good like a thunder shirt. She appropriately uncovered only body parts to work. First, I lied on my belly. Holly, average weight, got on the bed straddling my legs. She stood up and walked on my legs, butt, arms and hands. I wondered whether she had a handle from the ceiling to hold herself up, but no. Amazing. She asked if she was too heavy but I said it was perfect. She pulled each leg up and out to stretch muscles and ligaments. R was fine but L painful. I didn't scream. She pulled down the blanket uncovering my back. She massaged oil on my butt and back using her elbows with hard pressure. Told me to relax. She worked out knots on my neck and back. She pulled and turned my R leg without pain. She worked the sciatic nerve down from the glute to my R knee. She massaged L leg then turned it with typical pain at home. Winced. Worked longer on glute with her elbow pressing hard on the muscle and nerves. Massaged my neck and scalp. Turned over. Did thighs and calves. Shoulders. Did groins esp L. She said thank you and walked out. Looked at my watch. Started at 1133. Finished at 1236. Holly worked hard for a full hour. Got down and dressed. She said my L sciatic nerve is bad. Asked when I should return. She said one week. Asked if foot reflexology would relieve pins and needles neuropathic pain in my foot. She said next time schedule hour and a half to do feet also. L butt, groin and thigh pain persists. She said stay hydrated for muscles. Very professional. Very nice. Very quiet. Very clean. Didn't hear or understand her every English word but understood enough. Nothing negative like reviews I found on other massage places. You should do it. Paid $40 balance. Tipped $20. Worth every penny of $100. Show more
