not a great experience price that was advertised on the website was 75+ ended up paying 160 for simple highlights and that is without blow drying my h...air and when it came to my curly hair it was left with a mouse that left it brittle and dry had to wash it out soon after why advertise a price that was nowhere near the actual price paid. Im 100% natural. I just washed my hair and 40% of my ends are dead limp wont curl back up. I asked about heat protectant she said she had a cream one ...and it just as good as the spray ones. I got a trim also. So now that trim took off hair and now I have to cut my dead limp ends of my hair off as well. This is a major set back for me. She’s a sweet lady wonderful people but my hair isn’t bouncing back the way it was supposed too. I only got the silk press to get a proper trim now I regret it. I’ve washed my hair twice my ends are not reverting. I’ve put zero heat to my hair since I got it done. My ends shouldn’t be straight **She deleted her reply so ima post the screen shot. Nenet blow dried and flat ironed & Neura “touched up” and chopped off my hair when she was supposed to trim my ends. Reply: the second picture is my most recent picture less than a week before my silk press. And it is the whole shaft because my curl pattern is a lot looser from the root to tip. From the second picture(mirror pic) you can see the difference. I’ve put in a lot of time effort and money into maintaining my hair to be discredited. And trimming off more of my hair is not going to rectify the situation this is about1-2 years of hair growth that’s going to have to be cut off. I asked for a trim now my hair doesn’t even rest on my shoulders anymore. How did 1 inch of trimming my hair result in my hair sitting above my shoulders. To be honest, I didn’t really see the length of my hair after the blowout. She showed me what little she was going to cut off and I told her to take less than that but when she got to cutting, I didn’t really see how much she actually cut but now that I wash my hair, you can see she took off a lot more than she told me she would. I want to cry so bad! Update: just bought some wigs and a lot of products to revive my hair still nothing. Litterally 2-3 years of growth kissed goodbye. I went thru my old photos to compare. I’m still devastated. My hair was my pride. To delete your response & not take responsibility once you seen the pictures is deplorable. Show more

Started my locs at Nerua's by Dorca since July 2023 and it's been a very enjoyable journey. All the workers are nice, friendly and aim to please. Yes,... the wait can at times be more than wanted but that's to be expected at most salons on a Saturday...making an appointment helps with that a great deal. Kettia has been doing an excellent job at retwisting and styling my locs, as well as Marie. Overall, always a great experience there and Nerua's one of the kindest and respectful business owner I've encountered. She listens to you, holds her staff accountable when needed and very understanding! Show more
