Samantha was nice (hence the 1 star), but unfortunately she wasn’t professional in what her expertise is supposed to be.. a solo waxer. I’ve been gett...ing Brazilian waxing for over 3 years now and never experienced this before. I stated to her that my skin is sensitive, but I guess that wasn’t of any importance to her since she never bothered to mention any of the type of oils she was using during the service to remove the wax residue. Only told me AFTER I stated that I started to feel the very irritating sensations and said “I’ve been wiping you with tea tree oil the entire time.” Idk why she felt like that comment of hers made anything better. Because it didn’t, and proved my point where her professionalism is lacking. I’m very sensitive towards tea tree oil regardless of it’s properties and of course I wouldn’t know what she was wiping with since she never told me until the very end AFTER I asked. It’s my first time with you Samantha, you should know better to inform your new clients. I never went to a waxer who chooses to use essential oils as an antiseptic. And if so, it would have been informed to the client PRIOR to the service or at least written on the intake form. What upset me the most is that she blamed my skin’s sensitivity to the entire situation and that she had a bad day. That is UNACCEPTABLE and very unprofessional for the 15 years you have worked as a “professional” waxer. Show more
