She's Ok, i guess, but i was not satisfied. I got 10" loc extensions by her. The first few weeks were okay, but I started realizing some issues. Some... of the locs were not the same length as the others and probably not 10", more like around 8" (I measured them). The second issue was breakage and thinning, which ultimately led to a few of my locs falling off. I understand these issues may be part of the process, but what i did not appreciate/why im leaving a bad review was the reaction/attidude when i recieved when reaching out about these issues before the next retwist. It almost felt like i was bothering her, which is not a very nice feeling to have after you just spent $1k on a style she promised to maintain if there were issues within the first few months. I feel like these issues could also be due to the lack of attentiveness and meticulousness. She's not the worst but not the best either. Communication and attention to detail could be better. However, she is affordable. Ultimately, I took them out and ended up going to someone who was more expensive but had more experience and had an actual salon shop. I guess you get what you pay for 🤷. Edit: I followed all the instructions you gave me and never "manipulated" my hair. I've only taken my hair out of the styles that you did, which doesn't count as manipulation. You even admitted that the first style that was done wasn't the best thing for my hair at the moment. However, I do understand you had a lot going on with moving and your children. You communicated until I told you that for the second time, my locs were falling out. You said i would usually have to pay for this service (loc repair), which i replied to that i didn't mind paying. I understand you have a busy schedule and even asked if a different day would be okay in that same message. You never replied... Show more

I communicated with you throughout the entire process and let you know that the way I would be installing your locs would be a different method and a process. But yet you made it difficult by not following instructions. You came to my home multiple times to get issues fixed that you caused by over manipulating your hair. And every time I fixed it (despite my situation of moving me and my kids into a new home) I’m sorry that you were not satisfied and I truly hope that this set of locs work out for you. 🫶🏾

Last minute request to reschedule an hour & a half before appointment when I have to travel over 40mins to get to appointment. Accommodations made as ...a customer when previous appointment was rescheduled by stylist. Unable to accommodate stylist for the mismanagement of scheduling & time. No deposit refund although it wasnt my fault and out of my control. I was also told I should not make other obligations the day of my appointment to ensure I can accommodate. Work is great just customer service/communication needs work! Show more
