On 7/12/24, I scheduled an appointment with subject barber Rocco Cuttz, aka Rafael Branch for 7/13/24 at 8am. On the day of the appointment at 747am, ...Rocco text via phone stating that he was running 12 minutes late. Then at 818am, he text me again stating "no problem I should be there shortly." He was responding to my previous text of "Ok thanks for the heads up." He arrived at the barbershop around 845am. He did apologize for being late, and went into some small talk. Things seem to be going well, and even after the cut, he did spray my head with alcohol which did have a stinging feeling. I looked in the mirror, and everything seemed to be fine at the time. The next day which was 7/14/24, I looked in the mirror and saw the cuts on and across my forehead, as well as cuts behind my ears and at the back of my head. I've been getting my hair cut for years, and have never had cuts like this before (I have pictures of the cuts). So it's Sunday, and the barbershop is closed. So I posted my experience on Google reviews without the pictures at first because it was giving me an opportunity to do so. So I guess that evening or the next day (Monday 7/15/24), the owner replies to my post. Later on that day the owner and I spoke about my experience. During that conversation I explained to him that I didn't recognize Rocco at the time, but I had a past with him cutting my hair at two other barbershops. By this time he had cut my hair about 4 or 5 times, but the last time that he had cut my hair it wasn't to my liking so I had stop going to him. He told me that the way he cut it was the lowest that he could get it, and I knew that was a lie because he had cut my hair a number of times and cut it the way that I liked it. During this time, he was working out of Faderz barbershop. The first 2 times he cut my hair was the way I liked it. The next time I showed up at the barbershop he was not there, so the owner cut my hair. So I returned maybe 2 weeks later, and Rocco was back at the barbershop so I automatically got in his chair. This is when he didn't cut my hair to my liking. And as I was leaving the shop, I spoke to the owner, but he totally ignored me, I assuming because I didn't go back to him. But I ended up not going back because my hair wasn't cut to my liking, and I didn't like the feel in there. So when I ended up at Elevate barbershop, I didn't connect the dots in regards to his name, because for one when I was a customer, his name was Roc, and not Rocco. And his facial hair was different as well, so I didn't put 2 and 2 together when I saw him. So I do have pictures, I have the Booksy appointment he confirmed, as well as him texting me that morning. And after I sent these pictures to the owner, I never heard back from him. Show more
