Asked for my very full beard to be shaped up a little around my chin to accompany my haircut. Before I knew it, 3/4s of my beard was cut off. I didn’t... feel it or notice until the cut was over. He made it seem like it was an improvement. The line ups on my cheeks are uneven and my hairline has been pushed. After an hour of being in the chair, he never handed me a closeup mirror so I feel like he might have known he messed up. I didn’t fully see how much was cut until I got to my car or the several cuts on my face. Dre is a great dude. Community loves him which is dope. And I think he sets a solid example of a black man, but more careful consideration before cutting into someone’s beard is a standard that I’m used to, Not being told that a long beard for me looked unkept. So I’ll continue searching. Show more

Let me just first say this this is solely my experience with this barber and in no way is this being over exaggerated in anyway this is honestly what ...happened. So I get to the barbershop on time and I noticed that he was still coming somebody so I let him know I was here and proceeded to wait 15 minutes go by and he still kind of gentleman‘s hair as I’m waiting a couple people walk in and I’m thinking they are waiting for other barbers, he finally finishes the gentleman‘s haircut so I’m assume I’m up next, well as I walk back in the gentleman inside proceeds to sit in the chair, so I at this point I’m confused, I asked the barber if if he was overbooked, he says yes with no empathy at all knowing I just finished standing out there for over 30 minutes! I simply said a heads up would’ve been appreciated respectfully, at this point I’m very frustrated as anyone would be in this situation. He responds in a very implacable manner, almost as if I was in the wrong l!!!! I don’t know if his clients are used to him being overbooked or if he was just having a bad day. Barbers can’t expect to charge clients late fees and give this energy when they are running late or overbooked, it has to go both ways!!!!!!! Show more
