Honestly, if I could give a 0 star review i would and i was really upset that i have to leave this review because when I got my hair done by Caprice i... had a 10/10 experience. I recently had an appointment for my daughters hair with Izzy and she was always respectful and courteous, but she ended up having to reschedule me 3 times last minute due to her own scheduling conflicts and then she showed up an hour late to the final appoint time. I had to end the appointment early because my daughter's eyes were blood shot red and she was shaking from being in so much pain. My daughter really tried to be strong too. I watched as Izzy grabbed and pulled her hair so tight, when i got home my daughter was bleeding from her scalp. My daughter constantly gets braids in all styles and this was a horrible experience. I should have took the constant cancelations as a sign asked for my deposit back and booked with someone else. Show more

My apologies for your negative experience I understand your concern regarding the condition of your daughter's scalp. Before the appointment started I asked you was your daughter tender headed and you said no after looking at her scalp I noticed she had a medical scalp condition that you didn’t warn me about prior to the appointment. I aimed to accommodate her needs based on this information. In the appointment we even spoke about how you try to keep it from flaring up but being that it was still flared up might have been the reason for bleeding of the scalp.I would have appreciated if you could have reached out to me right away as this is something I take very seriously but I had no idea about this until now. Before your daughter left the salon her scalp wasn’t bleeding which is why I feel like this could have been the aftermath of her scalp condition. In conclusion I've been a braider for over 10 years, specializing in working with children. I have a large clientele of young clients and understand that most kids don’t particularly enjoy having their hair done. Despite this, I am dedicated to making the experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible, using my patience and experience to ensure they feel at ease throughout the process. I made every effort to achieve the style you wanted for her and always strive to produce my best work. Regrettably, I wasn’t able to meet the desired outcome this time.
