HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! is there a negative star option??? after confirming my appointment on the app, the stylist Zilena texted me at 11:56p the nigh...t before to cancel my loc retrwist and style scheduled for 10a. i texted her all morning to try to reschedule. i even informed her that my locs were small but that i needed them done by 3p. when she finally responded, she told me to reschedule with stylist Dunia at 12:30p. i did, and ended up paying the 50% down payment for the second time in a row, which Zilena told me would be considered paid in full at the time of my service. well, the service was HORRIBLE to say the least! they refused to wash my hair, the stylists were loudly speaking and laughing (in their native tongue) NONSTOP (and i do mean LOUD!). to make matters worse, Dunia stopped to eat lunch halfway through doing my hair. i ended up not being able to do the style i originally wanted because i was running short of time. but ish really hit the fan when i was ready to leave! i had to rehash the whole late cancellation and payment situation with the staff since Zilena who wasn’t even present, hadn’t informed them that i had already paid in full. on top of that the stylist who called her to verify, told her that i had sister locs! sister locs??? why was i there for a retwist if i had sister locs??? do these people not know the difference between small locs and sister locs??? 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ Zilena therefore told them to charge me an extra $30!!! i was so heated because i had previously mentioned to her that my locs were small and she had made no mention of extra charges. the stylist who was getting loud with me told me Zilena was not there to square things off because she “had a life”🙄 🙄🙄… umm okay… basically i ended up paying the $30 just to get out of that ghetto mess, cause i didn’t want to lose my cool over there. but later that night when i looked at the receipt which was sent via email, i saw that she had actually charged me $42.35 which included a tip, not $30, even though they literally saw me tip Dunia with cash (cause i always tip, bad service or not out of habit 🤦🏾‍♀️). seriously, i was only there because my stylist at tresses of love in stoughton was all booked for the week and i desperately needed my hair done for the weekend… but NEVER AGAIN. don’t even go here if you’re desperate! they are, as i told them, unprofessional AF!!! Short box Braids with Extension

Came here on July 26th for a 5pm appointment for short box braids I( I brought 12 inch braiding hair, made it inside to see she had a crying child in ...her seat braiding her hair. I waited a good 40 minutes.(no point of appointments) my braids are done but the 12 inch braiding hair I brought specifically for this hairstyle was know 24 inch long braids mid back length I was annoyed with that but whatever. (it was nice and neat) I was charged 150 also she made it knotless. I came here on December 3rd I did same appointment short box braids $150 I got to appointment waiting again only 10 minutes this time. I got short braiding hair and my hair actually was short this time but she decided to charge me $175 because she did knotless on me… (she did knotless on me last time, have a option for short knotless braids) For this appointment it was Too many people in one room had kids running around friends aunties and uncles cousins you name it just running in and out. Few people waiting for their hair to get done by the same person at the same time (make your appointment accordingly) be ready for your clients you guys be so quick to charge us late fees or no show fees. Again hair came out nice and neat but people need to be professional. Show more
