Ali made great conversation throughout, helping to calm any doubts I had about the experience. So I’m one of those people that don’t ever leave reviews unless im amazed by an individuals work. As a fellow Louisiana native who moved to Texas with...out any connections to a barber or knowledge of cutting my own hair, Ali truly saved my 4C hair care journey, and he has became my permanent barber until he retires lol. I honestly can’t thank him enough! Long story short Im on a hair care journey growing my Afro out. I tried to edge myself and it turned out horribly. So I was at risk of either going to a barber to fix it (which I was highly skeptical of doing due to traumatic experience I had at a different barber shop) or cutting it all off. My bf’s teacher friend’s husband (Mr. Johnson) recommended Ali to me. I reviewed his work and all of what you see is true. ALI IS THE GOAT!!! I told him before he even started if I just want a regular edge fix no fade and if it doesn’t work out then he can cut it all off. This man took his time and detailed EVERYTHING, which was incredible! Not going to lie even while he was cutting I was waiting for him to tell me that it wasn’t going to work but he never once did. He edged me right up and gave me advice on what to do next. I may get an edge later in the year once my corners grow back. I applied the before and after pics for you all to see for yourselves.
