I have been going to Cecilia for a little over 4 years now. I will never let anyone else touch my hair! She is like a fun Aunt to me. I’m biracial and... grew up with my mother who wasn’t really educated on how to take care of my curly thick hair. I came to Cecilia with very dry and damaged hair, we had to cut most of it off. Since then I have been educated very well on how to maintain a curl pattern and embrace my hair curly and straight. We started doing the smoothing treatment about a year in, I was a little nervous that it would damage my curls but it has done the opposite! It’s helped keep it moisturized both curly and straight and not as frizzy. I’m so thankful I crossed paths with Cecilia, she has truly changed my life❤️ Show more

Cecilia is a great stylist. I have been with her for almost two years now. She has helped transition my hair from a relaxer to a smoothing treatment. ...Over the year and change I’ve known her, her time management has gotten increasing worse. She has never started my appointment on time. I come biweekly. She often seems very scatterbrained combined with price increases that don’t seem to make sense. My last appointment with her was at 3:30. She wasn’t able to start me until 5 because I told her that I didn’t want to interrupt the woman before me who was receiving color. She often will overbook then put it on you to “get in where you fit in.” Since my appointment started so late, I was flustered and I believe she was as well. While doing my hair the steam touched my scalp which caused me to curse. Cecilia adamantly denied that she burned me and doesn’t burn people. We have since ended our relationship.
