We’ve been coming to Blue Collar for a long time and our previous barber left. We went out on a limb and chose someone else, Stevie, for my son. He as...ked for a midtaper. It’s never been an issue before and his hair always looked great. When Stevie was done, my son’s hair was totally choppy and uneven. He looked like he had bangs and had the hair guard “ design” all in the back of his hair. It was terrible. The owner, Laura, was quick to notice a subtle facial expression I made to her and immediately went to remedy the situation. If someone doesn’t know how to cut hair or to do a particular cut then they need to say it and not just assume because it’s a “ kid” that it’s not a big deal. My son is small for his age but going into highschool. A haircut is a big deal. He has grown his hair out the entire summer to make sure that his haircut was good. Laura took him into her chair and fixed the mess left by Stevie. While this haircut was not what he asked for or what we were expecting, it was a great haircut and he won’t be embarrassed to go to school. Also, Laura did not make us pay for the haircut- which I would have because Laura did a really nice job at fixing it. On the future, I hope that the stylist is honest when they don’t know how to cut hair instead of subjecting people to terrible and embarrassing cuts. We will continue using Blue Collar but will not be going back to get a mangled mess from Stevie. The three starts is because Laura took a disaster and assisted immediately to provide excellent customer service and to give my teenage son a good cut. If not, it would have been zero. Show more

I have been going to this place for last three years. Today I have very bad experience. First of all I book my appointment via Booksy with my regular ...stylish when I got there then I came to know my stylish is not there anymore. I had a hair cut with new stylish. While I was doing a payment I received a text message and my iPhone flash as I have setting on my iPhone as I received text or call my iPhone flashes. As soon my phone flashes the owner accused me for taking picture out of no where in front of all the people in the shop. That was very rude of her accusing me out for no reason without any proof. It’s very bad behavior to accuse someone like that. Will never go to that place anymore. I wish I can give 0 star. Show more
