I moved down to the crystal coast at the beginning of the year. Sure there were plenty of places to get the $4 buzz cut. I had one or two, then began ...searching for a real stylist for men. It’s a 45 minute ride to New Wave but so worth it. Simon takes his time to figure out what you want, and how to achieve it. He’s a great guy with a wealth of local information on places to eat, things to see, and local events. Thanks Simon for giving me my best cuts. Show more

This haircut was my first with Simon and my first at New Wave. Simon is a delightful young man, easy going, comfortable conversationalist, who asks w...hat you want and listens. He checks in along the way to make sure he has interpreted how you want your hair cut and continues to ask as he gives the cut - a very good quality. I was quite pleased with the experience, the prompt appointment, the shop, the haircut, and Simon. It is easy to recommend him. Although I know he has lots of pictures of youthful styles, he is also good at cutting a traditional 67 year old haircut, too, so he is versatile. Show more
