If you’re a dude with hair or beard needs - don’t hesitate. One of the toughest things to do after having relocated, is finding someone that can take ...care of your hair and beard. I can count the number of those, who I’ve trusted with mine, on a hand and a half. I was randomly looking for a place to get a haircut and stumbled across The Proper Dapper on the inter-webs. A short cut over to Instagram and I found an online booking tool that let me snag an appointment just a couple hours later on a Sunday morning. The place is just inside the Main Gate Flea Market, the second main aisle from the left. Jeremy, the owner and head dude there greeted me by name warmly. The shop is worldly, warm, masculine and feels like home. Sinatra and Dean Martin crooning on an antique stereo - memorabilia from Jeremy’s travels around the world. I booked the “exclusive cut”, and it was followed with a fantastic haircut, wash & style, eyebrows/ear hair tending, hot towel and mini facial. I haven’t felt so relaxed in quite a long time. This guy is super down to earth, incredibly talented, reasonably priced and a gem to find. Don’t be intimated by the location - friendly people all around and a cool “80’s just outside Disney” vibe. Thankful that I’ve found a local stylist that I can continue to go to. Jeremy was really kind, great to talk to, and super humble.
