The absolute best and so sweet. I’ve been getting braids done by ivy for over a year and I will never change. Her hospitality is beyond welcoming and ...she braids super fast . Her braid room is always clean and she even offers you water and a snack. I never feel like I’m just getting my hair done lol I have so much fun talking and watching Netflix, it feels like I’m talking to friend while there because of how down to earth she is! She started promptly at 2:30. She provided the hair. I had to wash and blow dry my hair before arriving. I got medium waist length box braids in color... 30. She finished the braids by 8:30pm. The braids were not tight. In fact, any pain I experienced from her pressing in my head was gone by the next morning. Two things stop me from giving her 5 stars. First, my hair is showing through the braids. This means that the box braids won’t last as long because my natural hair will frizz through the braids. It’s already starting in a few braids and I’ve only had the hair for two days. Second, she ran out of the hair color that I requested and it was too late to go to the hair store. She problem solved by removing hair from braids in the back to complete my last two braids so that wasn’t a big problem. Overall, she did a good job and I would return to her. Show more
