Been getting cut by Proper for 2+ years now. MY GUY!!! I’ve always been super picky with who’s cutting me up, but everytime I step in the chair I feel... comfortable to tell Proper what I’m feeling, never feel rushed/pressured, and he always makes it happen. Always good conversation in the chair—the experience is everything us men look for in a trip to the shop. Wouldn’t recommend anyone other than my boy, the reviews speak for themselves. Show more

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Proper for about a year and a half. Let me tell you, I’m very particular about my barbers - my hair is very critical... to my mental health. Not only that, I need a barber that I can gel with. So when I find a barber that hits all the points, I stay for years (my longest was 7 years). Proper gives clean hair cuts, he is consistent and caring/careful (ex. Asked if my piercings hurt each time I got my ears pierced). Every time I get my haircut, he is making micro adjustments to even each side out. When I tell him exactly what I want, that’s what I get. I never worry that he’s not listening to my request or that he’s not going to execute it with excellence. Conversation flows - he’s calm, cool and cordial. If you have the chance, get a cut by him, he uses really good smelling product too lol. As always thanks Proper, see you next cut. Show more
