Im so happy i found Alesia, its been more than a week and my braids still look new. Alesia is great at what she does, her parts are so neat, clean and... crisp and each braid looks perfect. As a Muslim woman its been hard finding a private space to get my hair braided so I was overjoyed when I found Alesia. Her space is comfortable and accommodating and I loved the conversations we had. She also has great taste in tv shows, I almost forgot I was there to get my hair braided and not to hang out. I love my hair so much and I will most definitely be back. Show more

Wow! I’m shook! Aleasia is a true professional and a beautiful person inside and out. I’ll just get it out now.. I’m a white lady!!! lol So let’s j...ust say I’ve been turned away and I don’t feel mad of course but I was giving up on my dream hair until I spoke to Alesia. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and appreciated. She is a wonderful conversationalist with an interesting and impressive life to talk about. Alesia also appreciates my humor and that’s a one way ticket to my heart ;) She cares deeply for her community and I am just so impressed by her. She gave me a braid down and it’s wonderful. I can wear my sew ins correctly now and I feel beautiful and comfortable with her braids. She is very conciencias about sanitation and uses quality indie products that also help her community. Her studio is cozy and the location is easy to park. Pricing is great and accessible. Alesia enjoys making all people feel beautiful with her talents. . Having recently moved to Berkeley from the north bay I was in need of a local stylist. My main search criteria when searching online was they had to h...ave a website because to me, that is indicative of someone who is truly about their business, as having a website is one of the best ways to market yourself and your services. Exquisite Braids has a website and so I booked my first appointment with her last month. What further impressed me was when I showed up for my first appointment I had missed the communication she sent me however, she was extremely professional and rebooked my appointment and waived the appointment reservation fee. All this is on top of the amazing quality of her work! My braids have never lasted as long as they do when done by Exquisite Braids and that in and of itself says a lot! Her prices are reasonable as well. So if you value quality and professionalism then Exquisite Braids is the stylist for you!!! UPDATE: Photos added and to further add to the quality of the braids, I ride a motorcycle and had been wearing my doorag under my helmet. Long story short it made my helmet fit too tight. For the last two days I have not worn my doorag and worried that it would make them frizzy or loose and neither of those have happened. Show more
