What I loved about my session is that she is very thorough! As far as her facial treatment, it’s definitely great! I love the ice mask especially! H...owever, if you’re sensitive and curious like me, she was rude to me twice. The first time was after I had asked her what kind of light she was using on my face at one point. I have a sincere passion for healing and I love knowing what people are using on my body and skin. Her response was, “Honey I have 20 years of experience and worked with a famous dermatologist in NYC. I know what I’m doing.” That’s totally great but you’re still not answering my question. She then says it’s infrared light. I’m like, “Amazing!!” I personally LOVE infrared light. It’s so healing and powerful! I don’t understand why she couldn’t simply answer my question and instead gave me an elitist, entitled and unrelated response. Then after treatment I asked her about her professional recommendation in regards to how often I should come back. “I mean I have wealthy clients they come regularly and Beyonce she does a facial every week” .... Uhhh really? You just looked at my face for the last 75 mins under fluorescent lights and a lense and you can’t give me a simple response? She eventually did by saying every season would be great or she could have also said, “Whenever you can!” The last thing I would say is that her steamer/mist needs to be fixed. There were two times when I felt hot drops of water splash on my face. It didn’t burn but it did catch me off guard. Although her facial was solid, I doubt I will be seeing her again. This is it. I won't get another facial anywhere else. Karima did SO many different treatments in that hour, even just with a basic facial service. She... personalized the treatment for my face. It included arms and hands as well. And some nice massaging. A sample of her toner to take home. She was super nice and made me feel very comfortable. A super relaxing experience with nice music. She didn't even try to upsell me on any other service or products like every other facial business does. But most importantly the effectiveness. I didn't know my face could look visibly, noticeably different within ONE facial! I was amazed. I went to meet a friend that day who didn't know I'd had a facial that day and they instantly noticed something different, saying I was glowing, something was different, that I looked extra pretty that day.
