Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant experience. I arrived for my appointment on time when I was informed that she was an hour behind. It would ha...ve been nice to have been contacted prior to my arrival to let me know. But anyway, something tells me to ask about the services I booked (8-10 stitch braid $100 June special). I confirm that a wash was included, cool … but the stitch braid special was only for natural hair and if I wanted hair added it would be an additional $100.00. At this point, I cancelled my appointment because I felt bamboozled by a “special”. Nothing on the advertisement said natural hair only. Mimi's Braids came highly recommended, but I was not impressed with the unprofessionalism. She may be one of the best braiders in the area, but to me great customer service matters and goes a very long way, and that, I did not receive. I was fortunate enough to find someone else to braid my hair. Show more
