I’m glad to see other folks share positive experiences, but mine was far from it. Perhaps she is better for relaxing massages, but I would not go back... for a deep tissue massage with Leslie. She asked some questions in the beginning, including one about my wrists (yet worked on them when I told her how painful they were before she started), and NOT ONCE did she ask how the experience was during the massage, as is standard for massage therapists. The room was too hot; I requested she turn off the table warmer, she did but she never checked in again about my temperature or anything she was doing to my body. I’ve had deep tissue massages before, but what she provided was not that. She’d use pressure to run her hands over my muscles (yes), BUT she’d skip the muscles rapidly over the bone over and over instead of working through the knots and kinks (so painful and aggressive in the wrong kind of way). Overall, it felt like my back and neck were being attacked instead of worked on. I left in far more discomfort than when I arrived. EDIT: Leslie reached out to apologize for my experience and that deserves recognition. Show more

Leslie’s practice is located in a serene campus focused on wellness. She met with me for a substantial amount of time to go over my intake forms and g...et to know my body and my pregnancy. I’ve had hundreds of massages before and she got my preferred pressure exactly right. The ambiance was perfect with my choice of essential oil, water fountain and relaxing music. I am 23 weeks pregnant and Leslie accommodated my belly perfectly. I was so relaxed I caught myself snoring! I came in for issues with my neck and jaw which when I thoroughly addressed while still tending to my entire body. She is so professional and her rates are SO much better than others around town.
