My experience was great. Andre greeted me when I walked in and immediately, I liked his friendliness. He was easy to talk to. I also didn't have to wa...it long (I got there 20 min early). The salon wasn't as big as I thought it was going to be, it was a bit small but when I went (Saturday morning) there was just a few people so it wasn't like it was crowded or anything. I got the big chop and I like that he took his time cutting it. I love that he asked me questions on my preference throughout the whole process, he asked me how low I wanted my hair cut and showed me some pics on his instagram for reference. Then when he was about to wash my hair he asked if the water was too hot. He made sure the water cooled down before he went back in to rinse my hair each time. I love that the process was quick but he didn't rush at all. I could tell he's a perfectionist in his work because he kept going back in with the clippers during the styling to make sure everything was good. I love that when he styled my hair, he even slicked my baby hairs too to add some umph rather than just putting moisture in it. I did expect him to ask me what type of style I wanted and ask if i want my baby hairs slicked down but it wasn't a big deal, this is my first time going so I guess they just stick to a simple curly style and if you want anything extra i guess you just have to pay for another service. The vibes were good at the salon, he had gospel music playing on the TV. Overall, I enjoyed Andre's service and I would recommend him if you want a big chop or if you want to do a short natural hair style. I would definitely recommend checking out his instagram page for inspiration on hairstyles or just looking at his work before booking. Show more
