I’ve never written a bad review before, but I feel the need to share my recent experience. I recently moved to Sarasota and used Booksy to find a styl...ist. I came across a salon in Bradenton and, despite the drive, decided to book an appointment. I called on Friday and scheduled for Saturday at 12:30 p.m., with the appointment confirmed by 3:17 p.m. that same day. When I arrived on time, the stylist seemed unaware of my appointment and was busy with another client. She informed me that she still had to finish her current client and had another appointment lined up. After driving almost an hour, I decided to grab lunch and return. I came back around 1:45 p.m., but the previous client was still not done. I didn’t get into the chair until close to 4 p.m., causing me to miss my next appointment and having to cancel my dinner plans. While I like the stylist’s personality , the experience was extremely unprofessional and resulted in poor customer service. The stylist mentioned that Booksy had incorrectly scheduled 30-minute slots, but I believe it was her responsibility to double-check her schedule to prevent overbooking. I’m not happy with the hairstyle either, but my main concern is the nearly four-hour wait despite having a scheduled appointment. Show more
