I want to share my experience with Jay to shed light on both the positives and areas for growth in hopes that it helps others know what to expect and ...aids him in improving his business. Pros: Jay excels at creating a comfortable environment. I appreciated how welcoming he was and his willingness to guide me when I got lost on my way to his location. Cons/Areas for Growth: Unfortunately, my experience highlighted a significant issue with time management. My appointment was scheduled for 7:40 pm, and I arrived early at 7:30 pm. However, I did not get into the chair until much later. By 8:03 pm, Jay was still working with his previous client. I let him know I would step outside for a call, but out of respect for the current client, I did not express my frustration at that moment. I did not return. Afterward, I reached out to Jay to address the matter offline, as I prefer to give business owners the chance to resolve issues before leaving a public review. Jay offered to reschedule my appointment and apply the payment I made in advance to the new booking. However, as this was my first time booking his services, I felt uncomfortable rebooking due to the experience. I requested a refund instead, explaining that the location wasn’t ideal for me, the scheduled time wasn’t honored, and the follow-through after my negative experience was lacking. It has now been 11 days since I sent that message, and I have not received a response or resolution. Original appointment was on Jan 8th. Final Thoughts: I genuinely hope Jay’s business continues to grow, as he has the potential to build something great. My feedback is meant to be constructive, and I hope it helps him improve his processes, particularly around time management and customer service follow-through. I’m always open to a conversation to discuss further and find a resolution. Show more

Thanks for your feedback Davon. As a business owner I strive for everyone to have a great experience when booking my services. I apologize that wasn’t your experience. As I mentioned in my text: i have my clients pay ahead of the service to book a time slot. That time slot is not a guaranteed time to get in the chair. As I’m sure you know as a business owner that people don't show up, or are sometimes late to meetings/appointments. My client that was in the chair when you came was a first time client that arrived late. I know that’s not your concern but that’s just what it was. I can’t change that. To make things better, I offered to reschedule you even though you walked out on your appointment and didn’t come back (no-show). I appreciate you taking the time to leave me a review frfr. When you’re ready to reschedule- let me know. 🤝🏾
