Th...ey gave me a ton of advice for dealing with her treatment, and if we find any more lice or nits on her hair, I'm coming back to these ladies for treatment - they know what they're doing and have the setup to manage treatments quickly and effectively. We appreciate the service - such a relief to have this service available. That said most of the practitioners put family worked with were excellent! T...he Lice Lady herself though was not very friendly or helpful at any of our appointments, and during one treatment, seemed to be quite rough and harsh in doing a comb through. If one is in need of lice removal, this service is invaluable. That said, the overall customer relations could be executed in a friendlier and more helpful manner. Show more

If you want peace of mind to get this done and over with and don't mind spending some money to do it, I would highly recommend The Lice Lady. It's not... that expensive if you have a single victim but we had 3 which does add up. We were so grateful that they fit us in the day we had a check, which they found lice in 3 out of 4 of us, but we got really lucky that another family didn't need their removal so they had time. Don't expect that to be the case, they are extremely busy so book the service you need for all family members. This was the first time we had lice so we had a lot to learn. If there is a next time around I do think I could probably deal with my kids on my own but I would not be able to do myself and we would definitely go there again. PS. The owner (like me!) is not from Minnesota so she is more direct than some people here might be used to! I for one appreciate it but I think it's good for Minnesotans to know that to understand. MN Lice Lady offers a necessary service, taking the stress and uncertainty of treating live off the parents. I was fortunate to have head checks that... resulted in finding no lice as we had been incorrectly diagnosed by a stylist. The staff at MN Lice Lady showed me pictures and textured examples of exactly what nits look and feel like on and off hair. I wish they would give seminars in schools and salons! It’s pricey but very much worth the money for peace of mind. We really miss the convenience of the Edina location. Show more

Make sure when booking if you need a treatment to book a check and treatment. I was confused and thought if they found lice during a check they would ...go right into the treatment - which is both the case here. They wanted to send us home and let it be for a few days until they could treat. I paid almost $100 just to be told 2 / 3 of us had lice. Which I was fairly confident one had going in. Each appointment was supposed to take 15 minutes for a “check” and they did all 3 in 15 minutes so concerned they didn’t do a thorough job there. I feel like I wasted $100 going here and based on communication will likely not return here in future. Probably an error on my part being a rookie to this lice situation in terms of scheduling. There is a lot of anxiety surrounding lice - and more helpful / understanding staff would be nice. Show more

I have long dark hair and my son has dark thick hair. This is the only service I trust when we get lice. Although it is more expensive than buying the... drug store shampoo MN Lice Lady actually carefully removes the lice and nits so you can be confident you are lice free and will continue to be lice free. The staff is very knowledgable about lice and tell you how to manage things at home and at school. I hope we don't get lice again but if you d I wouldn't think twice about going back. Show more

We used Nix the night before and went to MN Lice Lady to check that we were free of Nits. So glad we went. Kids were treated and the rest of us checke...d and cleared. So grateful to have peace of mind and was educated rather than praying on our fears. Hope to not need their service again but will be back if we need to. Show more
