Good afternoon, I apologize for not giving you the experience you hoped for. Kendra had excessively thick long curly hair that had not been trimmed in over a year. Undestand that natural curly hair that hasn’t been trimmed in up to a year will be very tangly even for a hairstylist. I offered a trim but your daughter ignored me as if I was talking to myself. I gave her a heads up that her hair would be hard to comb because of this. It doesn’t matter how many times you comb this type of hair out. The ends will keep balling up due to not trimming. As a stylist clients who do not keep up with trims make the service more difficult for the stylist and the client because the hair is so tangly. I asked your daughter if everything looked right before leaving and she smiled and said yes. This review is disappointing. I am unsure if she was upset she didn’t get the higher ponytail she requested which wasn’t achievable due to length/thickness. I apologize for having to push the appointment back. Understand sometimes at the salon things happen. Thicker hair clients take longer and may push the day back which is out of my control…. Kind of like how I had to comb out your daughter’s hair multiple times. This added at least 20 mins to her service and was unexpected. I honestly thought you all were happy leaving the salon. I am also unsure on what specific interaction we had that would give you the right to say "she has a nice nasty attitude." This review is completely unexpected.
