Great Teacher! I am a new shooter, working to learn the basics of pistol use and to improve my marksmanship. I could not think of any better teacher ...than Daria. She met me where I was starting, and did not treat this as “one size fits all.” She listened to me and helped me with what I needed, including advising on what pistols to consider buying. Beyond that she is a master teacher - I know this because I do coaching myself in another sport - and I appreciated the helpful ways she had of leading me towards better shooting - not just telling me what rio do but helping me to become aware of the key factors for success. She has a low key calm demeanor and her knowledge and expertise shine through. Having decreased strength on my trigger pull she helped me to realize I needed a different type of hand gun. I met with Beth for a 2 hour "shoot your gun" course. She was super knowledgeable and did a great job in making me feel comfortable. Being new to sh...ooting, things can get overwhelming so that was very important to me. I learned a lot more in those two hours than I thought I ever would. I had my doubts taking the class but they were quickly dismissed. Found Doria to be extremely knowledgeable, professional and immediately put me at e...ase. After about 15 minutes, I realized this was the best decision. Learning from the beginning the correct way to handle and shoot is less stressful than trying to fix bad habits. I truly enjoyed my 1st Gun and safety session with Beth! She took her time to explain every step and made sure of my understanding. I was originally s...cheduled for a 2-hour session and ended up staying for 2.5 hours receiving additional information relating to Blue Card to hopefully one day becoming an experienced recreational shooter. My experience was the best and I signed up for a refresher immediately after the session! I plan on signing up my mom, who’s timid about guns along with my 17-year-old son to assist with gun safety within the house. GREAT EXPERIENCE! Show more
