Kia has been doing my hair for several years, whether it’s a silk press or box braids. I haven’t left a comment lately so after my service today I had... to commend her on her hair care knowledge and the patience she has with guiding clients on their hair care journey. I went to a certain place where a lot of folks go for cheap blow outs and fake “silk presses” (out of convenience, big mistake) and had highlights put in and my hair was over processed and damaged from all the heat. Kia has brought my hair back to life in only a couple of visits. Ladies! Do not hold on to dead hair because it cannot and will not grow! There’s nothing that looks better and healthier than a nice fresh cut/trim.Kia can charge her rates because her talent and versatility are unmatched! Show more

Atmosphere was beautiful. Suite was nice and tidy. Kia was also very nice. But I don’t honestly believe a $200 service was rendered. Its was a basic w...ash, blow, flatiron and trim. No scalp massage. No deep condition. No heat protectant. No hydrasteam. Nothing really spectacular. The dominicans could of did the same exact thing for $60. She did ask if didnt want to flatiron my hair, but why wouldnt I if i still had to pay $200. And if there was price difference.. maybe that shouldve been specified. But you live and learn. Oh the advice she gave me was not to use oils on my hair and to use moisturizer…Of course this is just my experience.. someone else may feel differently. Show more

Thanks for the feedback! I asked you if you would like just a haircut because you mentioned that you don’t wear your hair & wanted to just treat it because your were putting on a wig the next day. You decided to go with the deluxe Silkpress. I care for each of my clients hair. I teach and inform clients on products to use & what not to use to keep their hair growing. I’m sorry that you were disappointed in the price. But the price isn’t determined by the amount of hair you have or the length. I use high quality products to maintain the integrity of the hair. I wish you nothing but the best on your hair care journey! & hopefully you find a stylist that fit your needs!
