Paige never showed up for our scheduled appointment. She contacted me earlier in the day advising she was running behind and wanted to know if I could... come later or reschedule. I opted to come later at the proposed time of 6:45 pm. I arrived at the location and no one was there. I called Paige 9 times I sent several messages and she did not respond nor did she call me back. I asked her to refund my deposit and still I have not received a response. I’m not sure what happened but I won’t book again. At this point I just want my deposit. Show more

I am a bit disappointed. The initial communication (by texts only, though) was good and clear. But I added some services, and I was supposed to confir...m the changes. I fell asleep and woke up to cancellation this morning. I was a bit confused but read that if i don't confirm, the appointment may be canceled, which happened. I booked again right away because I really wanted my daughter to get her hair done. After I did that, I sent her a text to double-check the confirmation, but she didn't respond. Booksy notified me that she confirmed the appointment. Long story short, the appointment changed from 10:30a to 10a, and my husband, who was bringing her, was late. I did call and tried to find out if she would be willing to accept the lateness but her husband said she forgot her phone and he was bringing the phone to her so I should called back in 20 mins or so. Well, my husband came in, and the other stylists told him where to go. He went to the room or suite, but it was empty. He waited 30 mins, nothing. He called multiple times, but there was no answer. No texts, no communication. The other stylists told him that it's a regular for her not to show up for the clients. So wasted time, no communication, and out of $35, which is the least of the issues. I was looking forward to it due to the pictures and positive reviews. VERY DISAPPOINTED. **Update** She texted me and said she left a note yesterday's morning to explain why she canceled, a car accident. I told her that I did not know that Booksy had a note section and I did not see it. I explained why I originally thought she canceled it because I didn't confirm the changes. I sent her screenshots of my email that shows why i thought it was canceled, another one showing the confirmation of the second appointment (which she said she never confirmed) and a third one showing that i didnt not get a refund for $35 until after i posted that review . She also said I lied about what the stylists said (take it up with them, not me) and lied about my husband waiting 30 mins. I already told her that he was late and I wanted to see if she would still take my daughter. So I didn’t lie about anything and even took accountability that he was late in the first place. I told her that it could have been a big misunderstanding, but to call me a liar is very unprofessional. Just for that, I'm going to leave this review instead of removing it. Show more
