So I booked with Latasha for a loc start up . Upon arrival Latasha notified me that was hair was too damaged to begin the loc process. She recommende...d treatment to try to get my hair in a healthier state so I can eventually start my locs. My ends where trimmed and my hair was placed in a protective braid style while it grows out. The knowledge and patience she had was amazing, as I sat in her chair and cried my eyes out. I love the service that she provided and I will be booking with her again soon. I highly recommend her. I came across Dolled Up by T on Booksy. Prior to that I had heard about the salon via word of mouth. I booked my appointment a week in advance and it ...was confirmed. Now mind you I'm trying to set an appointment for my hair style for New Years. The afternoon before the appointment I called to confirm and make sure nothing had changed. I wanted to know should I bring hair with me, should I be washed prior to coming ect. Latasha tells me that the heat went out and she would call me back if anything changes. The appointment was at 4:30pm that day. So from the time I hung up from the call with her that afternoon to the time I was calling her at 4:35pm wondering where she was located I got nothing. Okay so this lady's shop is located within a beauty supply store so when you put in directions on Google to her shop it takes you to a beauty store. When I talked to her that afternoon she did not explain that to me. If you Know that I'm a new client you would want to go over the location of your establishment. Especially when you're a business located within another business. I called this woman two times only for calls to go unanswered. When she finally did get back to me she told me the style that I wanted she didn't have time to do. The style that I wanted was not complicated, six braids braided up into a bun on the top of my head. I just told her that was okay. Thankfully, I found someone else who could do it on so short of notice. My advice keep scrolling and find somebody else. This was a waste of time as well as an inconvenience. The only reason why she got one star is because I had to choose one in order for my review to be placed. Show more

Unfortunately that’s not what u booked for an it was last minute I don’t charge a deposit anni also communicated with you and I told you it would be an up charge and it would take a little longer and you told me that was OK as well as I was ready to go out of town sorry for the inconvenience but that is why there’s a space for notes so you can specify as well as the location is specified nobody else has a problem finding it so my apologies an happy new year
