I’ve been using Braids by Pippi for more than 7 years. She is kind, starts on time, finishes on time. and has great ideas when needing suggestions. Th...e shop is super cute and comfortable. She works fast but doesn’t lose any of the details you need for a beautiful style. I think I’ve delayed posting a review because I didn’t want her calendar to fill up quicker than it already does. lol. Honestly her calendar isn’t too crazy and she will let her followers know on IG when something opens up. She does an amazing job and she’s a great stylist. Strongly recommended. Show more

My scheduled appointment time was at 7:30pm. Ashley reached out directly via text the night before asking if I could come earlier or come the followin...g day. At that time, I was open to coming earlier and responded as such. And around 7am the next day (day of appointment), Ashley replied saying "I think ima keep your time. Thank you tho." Thus, I planned my day accordingly. I also asked how many packs of hair needed & around noon, she responded again with the answer, which I appreciated. Upon arrival of my scheduled appointment, the entry door was locked which I thought was odd, but the business owner at beauty supply unlocked it for me and locked it back. To my surprise, Ashley was not in her suite and never responded to my calls or texts. I looked in my email to see if there were any notifications and of course, she sent two last minute emails around 5pm from her booking app (which went to my spam) requesting a change in time to come earlier. Mind you, Ashley has my PERSONAL NUMBER & could have easily called/texted (as she did earlier that day) checking in to see if I was still open to the change especially when she didn't hear from me. I was spending time with family who were in town one last night before flying out. I didn't think to check my spam email for appointment changes, especially since Ashley confirmed the morning of to keep my time and was texting back n forth up until noon. On top of everything, I was locked inside the building for 15-20 minutes as no one was there and the beauty shop had just closed so its around 8pm, dark, and next door to a liquor store, and im alone. This was all communicated to Ashley as I called/texted/DM'd her several times and left a VM to no avail. As of currently, I still havent heard from Ashley...she never replied or even followed up with me to make sure I was safe or out of the building as begged her to at least call the owner to unlock the building. Thankfully someone walked by and I screamed/banged on the door to get their attention, asking if they could see if the owner was still next door. The owner was literally about to walk out the BACK door but came to the front door to hear out the gentleman (God bless them both). Had they not been there, would have had to call the fire dept. Ashley, I am a client that has been coming to you for over 8 years and for you to do me like that was scary, unnecessary and terrible!!! I hope you take the time needed to heal (whatever you have going on) and not subject your clients to your own instability/personal issues. Show more
