Box Braids

I liked the layout, atmosphere, and decor of the space. While I was there, the show Martin was playing for entertainment, which I appreciated. I also ...appreciated that it only took 5.5 hours to get medium box braids braided down to my mid/upper back and that the employees were friendly. The braids look great. My only concern is that they are a little too tight, but hopefully after a week my head will feel normal again. It's also worth noting that I'll have to trim some of the hair since a few of the ends are much longer than the others. Show more

This was my first time visiting this shop. I changed from my previous braiding shop, because they were always inconsistent with pricing and the salon... was not clean. Michelle’s Braiding shop was very pleasant and accommodating. Plus I loved the fact that the place was clean and free of clutter. I received the small Senegalese twist, mixed with color, to my mid back area. It took about 4.5 hours, majority of the time it was one person braiding my hair, which I didn’t mind at all. Then towards the end more people were apart of the braiding process. They turned out really beautiful and I was very pleased. I will definitely be back. I hope that they remain consistent with prices and the tidiness of the salon. Show more
