I can only rate up to five stars but Mariah deserves a million. My hair was in desperate need of a refresh. My previous blonde balayage was looking ro...ugh with several inches of dark brown root growth and Mariah blew my expectations away. She was attentive, precise, and creative in her work to fulfill my perfect neutral blonde dreams. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had better color. My dark roots disappeared into intricately woven dimensional hues that look completely natural. I just can’t believe this hair is on my head. Mariah is an expert colorist and I’ll be seeing her from now on only. Bonus is that the salon is gorgeous and everyone that works there is just wonderful. This is the perfect neighborhood spot that everyone should try out. This is a Greenpoint gem! Show more

I had an 11/10 balayage and cut by Mariah. This was my first time going to this salon so I was nervous to do a full blonde transformation as I have cu...rly hair, and it’s previously dyed so I was worried about damage — Mariah gave me exactly what I wanted, but better!! I got a haircut from Reina and color from Mariah some weeks back and am so happy with how my hair looks. Both of them were attentive when we discussed... the look I was going for and also honest about what would be achievable with my specific hair type and natural color. If you’re thinking about getting your hair done here.. just do it! I live in central Jersey and the commute is not easy but it’s worth it! I see Maria...h and she is the one and only person I trust with my curls! Not only can she bring them back to life with each curly cut but she can change them into whatever color I want! Mariah has been my colorist for years & I’ll never let anyone else touch my hair. She’s taken me from blue to pink to gray to purple. She works magic ...! And my hair is still super healthy. Highly recommend. Show more
