Retwist + Rod Set Locs

I wasn’t going to say anything but after 2 back to bad horrible experiences I feel it’s only right to inform others. Daiyona showed up 45mins late to... my first morning appt with her a few weeks back. Im like okay w/e things happen, but I should have learned from this before booking again in December. Anyways, and I didn’t appreciate the Owner touchin my hair without washing hands first after being outside, in an attempt to help D as she started on another client. She also loosened some of my loc curls so I left the shop looking lopsided. (D knew not to losen the other curls as we had discussed that beforehand bc I like a tight curl look) So here it is in December. I wanted to give D another chance bc she is a nice girl and my hair looked good the first time…BUT, I showed up 12mins early to my 11am appt this time…and she showed up late by 5mins…It wouldn’t have been that big of a deal had she not continued to gossip with some dude who isn’t even a customer for another 15mins before getting me in the chair. Then taking anotherrr 10mins of “setting up” before even touching my head. She was constantly texting while doing my hair and focused on TV and that guy who left but ended up coming back to talk more. My hair took forever to do, 5hrs! There’s also a sign that says no children unless being serviced, but it was okay for him to be there yappin all around the customer? On top of that she wanted to create content too?? Like it’s already a drawn out process that SHOULD have ONLY taken no more than 3 or 4hours at most, but you want to tack on content too?! - Again, she is very nice and the hairstyle looks cute, but all the extra stuff is enough for me not to return. Additionally, I could hear and feel my hair being ripped from the locs during the retwist, I cannot! Show more

That said, we take client preferences seriously and would have proceeded without content if any discomfort had been communicated after consent was initially given. Your comfort is always our top priority. As for cleanliness, please rest assured that we follow strict hygiene protocols, including washing hands upon returning to the salon and after every client. I regret that the steps I took to sanitize upon returning were not communicated more clearly, and I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
