This may sound completely biased...and to tell you the truth it really is. LaShawn REALLY cares about the quality of her work. She even took the time ...to wipe away water that was running down my neck and face! Never before have I had a stylist to care for such details. She has a heart of gold and a talent ordained from above. I am FROM L.A. and I have had my hair styled by celebrity stylist...none compare...hands down. Don't let these negative people w/the negative comments disuade you. There will always be enemies that try to attack you and break your Spirit. But, her skill, level of detail, and meticulousness are truly undeniable. I almost hate to share this because I want to keep LaShawn all to myself. But, if you want someone who truly cares and REALLY loves what she does...nothing more to say!! Show more

I’m glad others had a good experience. However mine was horrible. Asked for a pixie cut and she cut almost all my hair off. She doesn’t understand tha...t all pixie cuts are super short. I asked her not to cut too much because my hair is fine and my scalp will show . She did the exact opposite. Won’t go back. Show more

I’m so sorry you had a bad experience with me. But, after I finished cutting your NATURAL hair that was already short, I gave you the mirror and told you to go to the bathroom so you can look at the back, you came out and you said nothing about me CUTTING YOUR HAIR TOO SHORT! You had prefect lighting in the bathroom for you to know if I cut your hair too short. I asked if it’s good you said Yes and you tipped me $5.00. I just don’t understand why you didn’t say something then. But, instead you rather give me a bad REVIEW. Although I couldn’t put your hair back on your hair, I just wished you could’ve shared it with me, face to face. And let’s be clear to everyone you came in with a Afro and all I did was cut your hair NO STYLING! No Pixie! Onceagain I apologize.

I was visiting from out of town to attend a conference in Vegas and decided to get my hair done out there. I found Lashawn and Styles of LA on Booksy,... read the reviews, and appreciated her pricing…so I booked with her. I really liked Lashawn’s “old school” approach of doing my hair. She gently scrubbed my hair during my shampoo, she deep conditioned me under the dryer, she used the Marcelle flat iron and curlers, and she used quality products. I’d definitely go back to her any day when I visit Vegas. Wish she had a clone in Nor Cal! Show more
