Since moving to Seattle almost two years ago it’s been tough trying to find a good barber out here. I randomly came across Klips page and decided to g...ive him a try and I’m glad I did. Super friendly and genuine guy and the cut was 10/10. We talked about kids so much and he helped give me some wisdom for being a first time dad I even forgot I was getting a haircut! The studio was chill and had the early 2000s vibes going with the music which felt like I was back home. Plus there was no problem with parking and it was free! Overall great experience and would def recommend to anyone looking for a cut!! Show more

I come from LA where haircuts are taken seriously. I had one barber I went to but when I moved to Seattle with my wife, I had to find someone with the... blendz that can match up with what I got from my home barber in LA. The first few barbers I booked here before Mikee (Klip) were good but not what I was quite looking for. Either their prices were too high for what they provided, they were too far, they didn’t care enough about the presentation of the cut, or they just didn’t have it like that. The first part that hooked me to Mikee were his professional photos on his profile. I figured that if somebody cared enough about the presentation of their business profile, they must also care about the craft of their service. And I wasn’t wrong. The second part that hooked me was that his barber shop reminded me of back home: bumpin’ vibey music, everybody that came in and out of the shop were stylish, sports banter, and all around welcoming energy. He also got a business partner barber he shares the studio with and his name is Mike too, surprisingly. Both are great at what they do and can hold conversations really well (unless you choose to stay silent, they can reciprocate that). He uses damn near the same gear that my barber back home uses so that earned him some points from me. The third part that hooked me was that he was also Filipino, so we connected on another level aside from all that surface jazz. I got my first mid fade done justice by Mikee in the PNW. I got my second fade from him a month and a half later and promised I’d write a review. I usually don’t write reviews. If I don’t write a review, that means I’m too shy to let the people know that your product/service was wack (maybe I should warn the people from here on out with a review lol) and I’d rather not take the time to do it. I’d rather just not show up again. Or maybe I was just lazy, haha. But I’m happy to say that I’ll be coming back for the third time this weekend for the full “Klip Dacio Experience” option to look handsome for my 10 year anniversary with my wife. Gotta get right, yamean?! As for downsides, I guess the prices are too high for what I’m used to? However, in LA it’s mighty competition so everybody charging less for double the quality. I haven’t come across many great barbers here, maybe I’m just not looking hard enough, but with Mikee I’ll gladly pay the fee - because when you’re that guy amongst the rest of the guys, you deserve to be paid like that guy.
