Always liked the vibe from Groomsman barbershop from my first day walking in. My regular barber Damon welcomed me in with open arms and we've been clo...se ever since. The consultation expressed his extensive knowledge of his craft as a baber and there's passion in every cut. Between the new style haircuts, hot towel shaves, and genuine conversations, I've never left the shop without feeling like a new man. The rest of the professionals there are also great. They're just a great time to be around and chop it up with. Just know if you're going to groomsmen barbershop in Valley Stream, you're going for a quality, professional, and family experience. Number one place to be in my opinion. Show more

I went to Damon for a while, but he wasn’t getting my beard right. So, I decided to go somewhere else to get it done the way I wanted. Unfortunately, ...I lost my mom two days after Mother’s Day in 2023. Later, I went back to Damon with the hope that he could understand my preferences. However, he took my absence personally, and his attitude changed drastically. While he initially provided good customer service, it became apparent that it was only for paying customers. When he thought I might not return, he treated me poorly. He even had me come in for a shape-up, seemingly to get back at me for not choosing him. Despite assuring me he could do the shape-up, I ended up waiting for him for 30 minutes because he was running late. Then, he turned me away, stating he’s not the right barber for me. It’s disappointing that he mixed personal feelings with business. I had referred clients to him, including a child, and put money in his pocket. Despite being a regular tipper and frequently getting shape-ups, I was let down. I hope he reflects on his actions and matures. I won’t be supporting him again; he turned out to be a very fake individual. What kind of person are you truly, to be so vindictive? Show more
