I was initially unsure about leaving a review, but after I had to remove some of my braids in the front because they literally had a lot of braiding h...air added to a very small amount of my natural hair which caused a lot of tension, I decided I needed to share my experience. First of all, getting a response when I was trying to book an appointment was hard. I had a lot of questions because of the specific hairstyle I wanted—either individual micro tree braids or micro boho braids. After finally getting a response, I booked the appointment. I chose this stylist because she had previously done my daughter’s knotless braids, and I thought I’d give her a chance. My appointment was scheduled for 8 a.m. I left my house around 7 a.m., considering the traffic and distance. I arrived at the address listed on her booking site, but by a little after 8 a.m., she still wasn’t there. I called and got no answer, so I texted to confirm the address. She eventually responded, apologizing for the late reply, and sent me a different address, asking if I could come at 9 a.m. I was already at the original location, so this was frustrating. This was an inconvenience because my husband had to return to work, but we decided to go get breakfast and then head to the new address she provided. When we arrived, it was an apartment building, not a shop. While waiting in the truck for 9 a.m., we saw a young lady leave the building, and I said to my husband that it looked like her, but I figured it couldn’t be because she’s supposed to be braiding my hair at 9. When I finally went to the door, an older lady let me in. I assumed she was just letting me inside, and that Grace would be down shortly. But no, Grace wasn’t there at all. Instead, her sister, the older lady, was the one who was going to braid my hair. Grace never mentioned this switch to me. I had booked with Grace specifically because I had seen HER work—I had no idea what her sister’s work was like. This felt incredibly unprofessional. I had no choice but to go through with the appointment since I was leaving the state the next day, but both my husband and I were very upset. The process took a long 13 hours, which I expected for micro boho braids, but the quality wasn’t what I had hoped for, especially the parting in the front. It seemed like she got tired and just wanted to be done with it. After sitting there that long I was over it too. I will not be booking with her again. I booked with Grace because I seen and I trusted her work, not her sister's. The entire experience was disappointing and unprofessional. PS. My hair was done a couple weeks ago. Show more

Grace is the braiding Queen I am glad I found her on Facebook starting with my hair and I am very tender headed and she didn’t hurt my head like braid...er did in the past I will definitely be going back! And today with my goddaughter here she did a super good job on her love the braid but especially her edges cause she has bad edges to where peoples who done her they never get and the hairdo looks bad but Ms Grace put her hands to work and it looks money well spent on my Goddaughter today that smile on her face was priceless I love it she love it and we will be back and she made the style age appropriate cause Goddaughter is only 13. My braider canceled on me at the last minute. I looked on Google and found Grace. She was absolutely amazing! Not only did she take me that afternoon,... she also sent me pictures of the correct hair to purchase for the style that I wanted. She was very sweet and fast. She did a total takedown of my previous braids, wash, and rebraid. She even applied a rinse to cover my greys. Grace also knows how to do stitching which it has been very hard for me to find braiders up here to achieve that look. Definitely found my new braider! She is awesome!! Show more
