So I googled highly recommended/rated in my area, unfortunately Orange City lacks salons I would consider going to. I took my chance to look on books...y and found a highly recommended/rated salon. Yes it was a drive and I was praying that it would be worth it. And guess what, I hit the jackpot. First, of all the inside is cozy and inviting with a mini boutique that had clothing, accessories and makeup, that are reasonably priced. The salon offers refreshments, a good variety too (I didn’t partake). Oh and let me tell you about the restroom. Omg…I felt as it I was at briar country club in houston, she had perfumes, lotions, and feminine products for her customers to use, yes it’s a general restroom but the amenities are what you usually see at a country club. I waited for Ginette to finish up a clients hair and I was nervous. So now it was my turn, she washed my hair, I told her about my experience with a different hairdresser that over processed my hair and the scam of a Groupon I purchased in which the hairdresser was going to charge me extra for the haircut due to the length (awaiting my refund) and we spoke about hair in general. She is highly qualified, knowledgeable and educates her clients about the care/aftercare. I showed her a photo of my previous haircut and right way she knew what to do. As, she cut my hair I noticed her technique and it is what I expected especially with my hair type. She did inform me if I was not satisfied with the cut I could come back in and she would fix it for me. So I got home and my hair was like a puff ball. I was like omg so I put my usual products in my hair to calm the fizzy and all was fine. Prices are very reasonable and there is a nail technician if you want your nails done too. Overall this is a hidden gem in winter springs. FYI…never judge a place from the outside. I look forward to her doing my hair again. I finally found a hairdresser!!! Thanks so much Ginette. Show more
