Mo Natural Sew in (Traditional Sew in)

Seeing the positive eventhough this was the last form of communication I’ve had with Morgan,(including pictures) since she was too prideful to discuss... this over the phone. First I will say I was very excited to get what I thought would be a life long beautician as I haven’t been to a hair shop in years because I usually wear my hair natural in its wavy/curly pattern or I may rock some braids. I decided to go way out the box with my first sew in. I conveyed my nervousness with Morgan up until the day of my appointment. I felt confident I would be happy and that I was making a good decision by picking Morgan as my new stylist. My disappointment first came when I saw the hair my husband paid $135 to get colored. It was NOT the color I wanted. Ok no problem maybe I’ll get used to it. The main issue came when I got home from the shop and looked at the back of my head. My fault for not doing this before I left the shop!! Will Not happen again! I asked Morgan to call me once time permitted to discuss my dissatisfaction and to see what if anything could be done. Not once was I disrespectful or rude to her during our conversation. Not once did I even tell her I would like a full refund for the almost $400 that was spent to not be completely happy with what was produced. What was produced, was Morgan saying she doesn’t think she’s the right stylist for me. If I was petty I would definitely be in the process of getting a refund expeditiously! However just like myself Morgan has a child she has to provide for, so I will not be asking for any type of refund. And to add to the message she sent as she was too full or pride to even call me. We both sacrificed our time discussing my appt. She called me after she had gotten off work after 6p. We both were at home with our families when we talked about 30min regarding the sew in I was getting done. I wish Morgan the best. It’s sad that pride amongst other things will cause people to do things that could be avoided. Update, Morgan What receipts are there for you to even post? You chose the cowardly way to express you not wanting to service me in the future through a text. Instead of calling and at the end of the day pride was the contributing factor. Maybe I misunderstood you saying you could supply the hair color I wanted. It wasn’t a matter of me “insisting” on Beauty supply hair as all of this is foreign territory for me. And let’s be honest, you know good and well I never looked at the back of my head before leaving I only looked at the front! Maybe you didn’t observe that. God bless you! I truly believe God has provided better for me as I found someone willing to service me the same day you sent that message and made the choice not to call me. I hate that we weren’t a good fit. As I mentioned on the phone when I called you right after your text, I displayed patience, gave you time to feel comfortable, and answered every question professionally. Before booking, we had a 35-minute conversation because you were unsure of what you wanted. You later called back with your friend’s negative thoughts on my recommendations, yet I still worked hard to accommodate your budget. I informed you I supply virgin hair that can be lightened, but you insisted on beauty supply hair for coloring. I even demonstrated how to roll your hair before you left and handed you the mirror to check the back. You said you liked it, and I clarified that rolling and tying it down would help with flyaways. Seven hours later, when you texted about them, I reminded you to roll it together. I moved clients to fit your event and gave my best effort. We agreed before booking that you’d receive a traditional sew-in with minimal leave-out, yet you later said it wasn’t versatile. Setting boundaries isn’t about pride—it’s about professionalism. You weren’t mean, but you were definitely difficult to accommodate. While I can’t post my receipts, I stand by what I said and truly wish you well.
